How I work with couples
Getting to the root of the conflict

How we communicate is often learned at an early age and reinforced through our life experiences. The most heated arguments are often tied to a past wound that was never addressed.
I often use Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Imago Therapy, and many couples see change in a short amount of time. EFT helps you understand and share your early attachment needs, while each partner learns to build intimacy through empathic responsiveness.
Couples counseling can help you:
- Talk safely, even in times of conflict
- Rebuild trust after infidelity
- Repair and strengthen your marriage
- Prepare for marriage, or for a baby
